While using the CMS like wordpress you might encounter errors while login into dashboard panel.

The below given is the most common issue found in WordPress. The WordPress gives an error which says you are unable to access the Dashboard.

Troubleshooting steps:

1) Make sure the database details are correct in the configuration.

2) Make sure .htaccess has no unwanted codes.

3) Make sure the ownership for files and directories are that of the account.

4) Make sure all the files and directories are having the 644 and 755 permission respectively

If you have followed these steps you should have fixed the issue already but if the issue still persists then please try the following.

1) Access WHM and open PHPmyadmin.

2) Select the database used by your domain.

3) Go to the table ‘wp_options’ and make sure you have set the following correctly.

1) The Site URL is setup correctly.

2) The WP admin URL is setup  correctly.

3) The home URL is setup correctly.

4) Go to the table ‘wp_users’ and check the username is available.

5) Go to the table ‘wp_capabilities’ and add the value a:1:{s:13:”administrator”;s:1:”1″;}

5) Set the ‘wp_user_level’ parameter to the value ’10’.



Now you will be able to access the wordpress Dashboard again.
