How to enable SPF and DKIM on a cPanel account?

Posted on: October 8, 2014

This lesson will teach you on how to enable SPF and DKIM records on your cpanel account.

SPF(Sender policy framework) records are DNS records which identifies which mail servers are permitted to send mails on behalf of your domain.  DKIM(Domian key Identification Mail) is a system to allow receiving mail exchangers to check that incoming mail from a domain is authorized or not.  Enabling both will improve the deliverability of my email from a domain on server to other servers.

1) login to the WHM.

2) List and select the account you want to enable SPF and DKIM.

3) Go to ‘modify account’.

4) At the bottom, you will see the options SPF and DKIM. Add tick mark to enable them.

5) Save and exit.

You will be greeted with a message saying both the feature is enabled.
