This lesson will teach on how to enable PHP error reporting for accounts. The PHP error reporting is a debugging tool, it will help you to find out the possible reason why your PHP application/scripts are not working as expected.
1) Login to your cPanel account and open File Manager option.
2) Go to the document root location.
3) Search for the file .htaccess, if it is not available already you can create a new one.
4) You need to add the following lines to the .htaccess file.
php_flag display_errors on
php_value error_reporting “E_ALL & ~E_STRICT & ~E_NOTICE”
Now you have enabled PHP error reporting on your account.
